Job Summary

As FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering insightful reporting and analysis to support business growth. Sitting within a dynamic, forward-thinking team, you’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders – acting as a trusted advisor and commercial voice within finance.

This role is perfect for someone who is naturally curious, highly analytical, and looking to grow within a fast-paced and ever-evolving SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Metrics: Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and SaaS performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Variance Analysis: Perform monthly variance analysis on key P&L items, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation of annual budgets and long-term strategic plans.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to understand drivers of performance and support decision-making.
  • Data Analysis: Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Process Improvement: Support the evolution of FP&A tools, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Involvement in strategic initiatives including pricing reviews, marketing analysis, and performance deep-dives.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 1–3 years’ experience in an FP&A or related commercial finance role – ideally within SaaS or a fast-paced industry
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify and communicate complex data
  • Highly accurate and detail-focused, with an ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communicator – able to build relationships and influence across functions
  • Proactive problem-solver with a process improvement mindset
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
