Cleaner – Advertisement for the post of Cleaner at Cleaswell Hill School Band 1 £7,151 per annum (£24,796 FTE) Additional Pay Award Pending 12.5 Hours Per Week Term Time (6:00am – 8:30am Monday – Friday) + 3 Teacher Training Days

Cleaswell Hill School is an outstanding day community Special School for 263 children (designated age range 4 – 19) with complex and multiple learning difficulties and disabilities. Some pupils have additional physical, sensory, communication or emotional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Clean designated areas to ensure that the school is maintained in a safe and hygienic condition.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • No prior knowledge, qualifications or experience required; training will be provided.
  • Variable hours contract between 5-15 hours per week; initially 12.5 hours per week term time plus 3 teacher training days.
  • Preferred start date: soonest possible; start date negotiable.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate required; other relevant pre‑employment checks required.
  • Post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and applicants on the children’s barred list are ineligible.
