Summary
The Scheduler provides efficient administrative and scheduling support to the Reactive Repairs and Direct Services function, ensuring repair and maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered effectively. The role is responsible for scheduling repair works, coordinating operatives and appointments, and delivering a responsive, customer‑focused service to tenants and stakeholders. Working within a fast‑paced maintenance environment, the post holder ensures repairs are scheduled efficiently, resources are utilised effectively, and service delivery standards are maintained to support excellent customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule responsive repairs, maintenance appointments, and work orders to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, appointments, customer communications, and maintenance schedules using job‑specific IT systems.
- Ensure all administrative processes, documentation, and scheduling records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with reporting, data entry, performance monitoring, and general administrative support for the repairs and maintenance function.
- Promote compliance with organisational procedures, health and safety requirements, equality and diversity standards, and data protection obligations.
Qualifications
- GCSEs/O’Level (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, or equivalent relevant experience.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience scheduling work within a repairs, reactive maintenance, housing maintenance, or property maintenance environment.
- Experience coordinating appointments, diaries, or workforce schedules in a fast‑paced operational setting.
- Experience maintaining accurate records, work orders, and service information using IT systems and databases.
Eligibility and Availability
- Available to work immediately or at short notice.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Where applicable, possession of an enhanced DBS or the ability to obtain one through Brackenberry Ltd or a subscription to the DBS updating service.
