Job Overview
Heathfield Community College is seeking an enthusiastic and well‑organised Administrative Assistant for the Network Services department. The role supports ICT technicians in basic ICT functions and administers the Network Services office. Full training will be provided. No ICT experience is required.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Network Services team, including scheduling, documentation, office management, and assisting with basic ICT tasks as required.
Working Hours and Pattern
28.5 hours per week, part‑time. Working pattern: Monday to Friday during term time only (40 weeks per year plus 6.2 weeks annual leave, increasing after 5 years of continuous service). Exact hours flexible and agreed with the successful candidate. One extra week in holidays is included. The salary is pro‑rata.
Requirements
No ICT experience required.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check or BACS Enhanced check for regulated activity. The DBS requirement is a legal mandate for staff working with children.
