The Governors of St Johnthe Baptist are seeking to appoint an internal candidate who is committed,organised, enthusiastic, and hardworking to cover PPA 2 hours per week in KeyStage 1.
Under the general supervision and direction of theteacher, the successful candidate will plan and implement learning activitiesfor individuals and groups. They will monitor pupil progress and providefeedback to the class teacher and establish supportive and constructiverelationships with pupils, parents and carers.
They will provide short-term cover for classes towhich the Teaching Assistant is normally assigned, when the class teacher isunexpectedly unavailable.
