Valuations Associate Director – London (hybrid) – Competitive Salary

We are working with a leading professional services firm seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their growing valuations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse client base, delivering high-quality valuation services across a range of sectors for commercial, financial reporting, and tax purposes, supporting both contentious and non-contentious matters. With a strong focus on business and share valuations but also prepare valuations of intangible assets and incentive scheme awards.

Role

As an Associate Director within the Valuations team, you will play a key role in managing client engagements, leading project delivery, and supporting business development initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing robust and defensible valuation insights while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex valuation assignments across a variety of purposes
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
  • Review and oversee financial models and valuation analyses prepared by junior team members
  • Support business development activities including proposal preparation and client pitches
  • Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory developments, and valuation methodologies
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance team culture

Key Skills

  • Strong experience in business valuation gained within a professional services or advisory environment
  • In-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver projects independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred
