Location: Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire

Hours:40 hours per weekMonday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00Friday: 08:00 – 15:15Includes paid lunch break and early finish on Fridays

Salary: Competitive salary available on application

Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative

• Picking raw materials and preparing finished goods for despatch
• Loading, unloading and safely storing stock within the warehouse
• Ensuring stock is rotated correctly and stored in a food-safe manner
• Completing stock takes and maintaining accurate stock records
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the warehouse environment
• Supporting goods in, goods out and general warehouse operations
• Assisting with production duties when required
• Following all food safety, health & safety and quality procedures

Key Skills of a Warehouse Operative

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Forklift licences (Counterbalance and Bendi) desirable
• Ability to work effectively within a small team
• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work using own initiative
• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport required due to rural location
