Leggwork are working with a long-established contractor operating across Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure, now looking to bring in a Pump Service Engineer to support ongoing works across the South West. This role is hands-on and field-based, working across a range of water and pumping systems, with a focus on install, service, maintenance and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities: Install, service, maintain and repair a range of pump systems including Grundfos, Flygt, borehole and UV filtration pumps Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across mechanical and electrical components Service motors, pipework and associated pumping equipment Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently Work on-site across multiple projects as part of a mobile engineering team
Requirements: Proven experience working on pump systems (install, service, maintenance and repair) Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fault-find independently Experience working on Grundfos, Flygt, borehole or UV filtration systems highly desirable Electrical knowledge around control panels (installation, servicing, repair and commissioning) advantageous, but not essential Comfortable working a 50-hour week in a site-based role Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
