ROLE OVERVIEW
London Square is seeking a motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join their dynamic construction team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical carpentry skills on‑site while working alongside experienced professionals in a leading property development company. The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience in various carpentry tasks, contributing to the construction of high‑quality residential and commercial buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.
- Support senior carpenters in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate actively in on‑the‑job training and formal apprenticeship programmes.
- Collaborate effectively with site teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in carpentry within the construction industry.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and tools is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme and related qualifications.
- Ability to work on‑site in London and surrounding areas as required.
- CSCS card or willingness to obtain one is advantageous.
