This is not a typical DevOps or Software Engineering role. Designing and building CI/CD platforms used across multiple teams globally Enabling engineering teams to self-serve high-quality pipelines at scale This is platform engineering for CI/CD, not general DevOps.
Building CI/CD platforms from scratch (not just contributing to existing ones) Custom actions (ideally in TypeScript) Standardising CI/CD across multiple teams / repos / business units
Full-stack or backend engineering with “some CI/CD” DevOps focused on infrastructure rather than developer experience + delivery platforms
TypeScript / Node.js Influence how software is delivered at scale, not just contribute to it Enjoys building systems that other engineers rely on daily Wants to own and shape how software is delivered at scale This is one of those rare roles where your work directly impacts how an entire organisation engineers and ships software.
