Job Description
- Work safely as an individual and as part of a team in a physically demanding role.
- Work as an individual or part of a team to ensure delivery on time to both internal and external customers.
- Mark out, drill and fit equipment to layouts.
- Read and work to bills of materials, standard operating procedures, assembly drawings and instructions.
- Be competent to torque power connections.
- Work to process standards and operating procedures.
- Capable of highlighting potential issues and suggesting rational corrective/preventative actions.
- Capable and willing to transfer skills and knowledge to colleagues.
- Responsible for achieving required output including productivity, quality and attendance.
- Operate Kanban stock.
The ideal candidate will have solid and relevant experience of mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment; however other mechanical disciplines are also suitable.
