Welsh-speaking KS1 Teaching Assistant

Pay: £93 per day (paid weekly)
Location: Barry
Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Barry from September 2026.
This role will support young learners in Key Stage 1, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development through the medium of Welsh.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for KS1 pupils
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and phonics sessions
- Promoting Welsh language development through everyday interaction
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and communication skills
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)
