Locum – Biomedical Scientist in Andrology

Working Pattern: Core hours only

Hourly Rate: £25-27

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Andrology to join our client’s team in Hammersmith Hospital. This is a full‑time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well‑established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will prepare and examine cellular samples from various body sites. You will identify abnormal cells and support cancer screening programmes.

Qualifications and Experience

• HCPC registration
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Experience in Andrology within a clinical laboratory
• Experience with cellular sample preparation and analysis
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• NHS experience (preferred)
