CNX Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading FM Contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for a permanent position based in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering high-quality residential developments across the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing projects from pre-development through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential construction projects across Glasgow and surrounding areas
- Lead and contribute during pre-development and planning stages
- Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring effective sequencing of works
- Oversee project delivery, monitoring progress, quality, and costs
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and professional relationships
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety and regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks across all project stages
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within FM or residential construction (ideally Social Housing)
- Strong background in pre-development and planning processes
- Demonstrable experience in programming works and project scheduling
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent preferred)
