Overview

South Coast / Hampshire

I’m currently supporting a well-established specialist contractor within the façade and building envelope sector who are looking to strengthen their senior leadership team with the appointment of an experienced commercial leader.

The business delivers complex façade and cladding packages across commercial and high-value construction projects throughout the South of England and London.

This position would suit someone with a strong background across façade systems, metal roofing, composite panels or building envelope solutions, who combines technical understanding with commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with architects, developers, consultants and Tier 1 contractors
  • Support tendering and negotiation of major façade contracts
  • Identify and convert specification opportunities into secured projects
  • Strengthen relationships across key contractor and developer accounts
  • Support senior leadership in driving continued business growth

Ideal Background

We are particularly interested in individuals with experience within:

  • Metal roofing systems
  • Curtain walling or specialist building envelope solutions

  • Commercial Director
  • Head of Business Development
  • Senior Commercial Manager
  • Specification Director

Experience Required

  • Extensive experience within the façade, cladding or building envelope sector
  • Strong network across architects, developers and main contractors
  • Proven ability to secure and negotiate major project contracts
  • Commercial leadership experience within contractors or manufacturers
  • Strong understanding of specification-led project environments
