Maidenhead | Up to £45,000 | 9-Day Fortnight

You’d be joining a fast-growing aerospace and UAV business building next-generation heavy lift drone platforms for real-world defence and logistics applications. The work is varied, hands‑on and closely tied to live engineering projects.

You’ll work directly with engineers and technicians machining precision components used on cutting‑edge autonomous aircraft, with the chance to see your work go from prototype through to flight testing.

The role includes:

• Manual milling and turning
• Programming and setting 3-axis VMC machinery
• Working from engineering drawings and CAD data
• Supporting prototype and low‑volume builds
• Collaborating closely with hardware and R&D teams

They’re looking for someone with:

• Strong machining experience (manual and/or CNC)
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• A proactive, hands‑on mindset
• Experience working with metallics and plastics
