MIG Welder – Daventry | £16.12 per hour | Monday-Friday | 8am-4pm | Permanent

Description

Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for a stable, full‑time role with early finishes and excellent benefits? We’re recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Daventry. Working within a final assembly environment, you’ll be responsible for manufacturing parts and assemblies to precise production and quality standards, playing a key role in maintaining output and supporting continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out MIG welding to manufacture parts and assemblies in line with production schedules
  • Work with TIG welding equipment where required (training/support available if needed)
  • Prepare and set up welding tools and equipment
  • Prepare parts for welding using machinery such as saws and sizers
  • Manufacture components using jigs, fixtures, SOPs, and works orders
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality team to maintain product and process standards
  • Support works order tracking through shop floor data capture and ERP systems
  • Operate tube manipulation and fabrication equipment (after training)
  • Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy and report any issues
  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Support the development of new components when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven MIG welding experience (essential)
  • Experience with or willingness to carry out TIG welding
  • Background in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to health & safety
  • Reliable, proactive, and team‑focused approach
