What you’ll do
Senior Store Assistant (keyholder) in Newcastle Scotswood Road.
24 hours per week.
We are looking for candidates who live locally and can commute easily to our store.
Store open 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must manage early starts and late finishes.
You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need and handling deliveries, warehouse tasks, stocking shelves, and other duties.
The role includes accountability for supporting colleagues to deliver a great customer experience. Retail experience is not essential, but you will need experience as a key holder or supervising team members.
Daily responsibilities
- Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep store clean, and prepare orders.
- Offer outstanding customer service during busy times.
- Sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up.
- Open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short-term supervisory cover when needed.
