Join Our Client South Gloucestershire Council’s Team as a Cleansing Operative (Street)

Our client is looking for dedicated Cleansing Operatives to join their team in Yate, South Gloucestershire.

What Will You Do?

• Drive a vehicle to various locations to perform cleansing duties (Full UK Driving License required).
• Empty litter and dog bins to keep streets tidy.
• Clear fly-tips and ensure public spaces remain litter‑free.
• Clean public toilets to maintain hygiene and comfort for all users.
• Clear detritus and pick litter within traffic management closures.
• Perform walking, lifting and carrying duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Good knowledge of the Yate area to navigate effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining public spaces.
• Ability to work independently, including lone working.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
