Key responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to residents, including bathing, dressing and oral care, respecting their preferences and promoting independence.
• Make and oversee medication administration safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with social activities, including organising and participating in trips and other engagement events.
• Contribute to and conduct care reviews with residents.
• Provide support and development to new staff, including shadowing and, if needed, lead the home in the absence of senior managers.

Qualifications & requirements

• Minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Current or willingness to obtain relevant care qualifications (e.g., QCF level 5).
