MET Strip Fitter

Vehicle Trimmer / MET Strip Fitter position at a leading vehicle refurbishment company. The role is based in Peterborough and requires a permanent appointment.

Hourly rates: £16.47 – £18.12. Shift pay ranges: £34,351 (days 6am‑2.30pm), £37,793 (afternoons 3pm‑1am Mon‑Thu; 3pm‑7pm Fri). 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid holiday: 30 days, pension, career progression. Workspace includes heated workshop, onsite parking, canteen, gym.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit localised trim components on vehicles.
• Strip and refit door handles, bumpers, door mirrors.
• Perform exterior trim duties only.
• Assist with other tasks as directed.
• Work within specified times and adhere to repair methods.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle trimmer or strip and fit technician.
• Knowledge of repair methods required for this job role.
• Can start immediately.
