Overview
My Client in London is looking to recruit an enthusiastic D2A Occupational Therapist to join a well‑structured and dynamic team. The client offers a full‑time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3‑6 months with potential for extension.
Main Duties
- Undertake strengths‑based occupational therapy assessments under the Discharge to Assess pathway
- Support safe and timely discharge from hospital
- Assess functional ability, risk, and environmental factors in community settings
- Recommend and arrange equipment, adaptations, reablement, or short‑term support
- Work collaboratively with health partners, reablement teams, and social care colleagues
- Contribute to decision‑making around longer‑term care and support planning
- Maintain accurate records in line with statutory and professional requirements
To Be Successful
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community
- HCPC Registration
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Occupational Therapist Qualification
