We have partnered with this highly regarded, international law firm as they recruit a Senior Content Manager to their Marketing and BD division. This is a strategic hire for the firm – the Senior Content Manager will lead the development and coordination of high-quality content to enhance client relationships, promote expertise and support firm-wide initiatives across global markets.

Please note: this role can be based from any of the firm’s City offices on a hybrid basis – London, Bristol, Manchester or Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of developing and implementing engaging content, such as reports, articles, website copy and campaigns, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic goals.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, including partners and practice groups, to shape thought leadership initiatives and sector-specific content plans.
  • Manage content projects from initial briefing through to publication, maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines while upholding brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, and communication teams to ensure content is effectively distributed and repurposed across various channels and regions.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on messaging, tone of voice, and audience engagement to enhance the firm’s profile and reputation.
  • Support continuous improvement of content processes, governance, and performance metrics to optimise the content function across the organisation.

Experience required

  • Extensive experience managing senior-level content projects within a large international law firm or comparable professional services environment.
  • Proven success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder content programmes targeting diverse audiences and multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of how content fosters client relationships, enhances visibility, and contributes to business development efforts in professional services.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior partners and leaders, demonstrating sound judgement and professionalism.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail and high-quality output.
  • Exceptional editorial skills, committed to maintaining consistency, accuracy, and high standards across all content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple priorities.
  • Experience with digital content platforms, campaign management, or content governance is desirable.
