Maintenance Engineer

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

• Rotating shifts with an early finish Friday on both shifts.
• 37.5 hours per week.
• Shift premium + bonus scheme paid bi‑annually.

Hours & Salary

AM: Mon–Thurs 06:00‑14:00 | Fri 06:00‑13:10

PM: Mon–Thurs 14:00‑22:30 | Fri 13:10‑18:20

£44,880.50 – £46,975.50 DOE

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery in an orderly condition
• Repair first line fixes
• Reporting to management
• Complying with company policies and H&S
• Provide technical diagnosis and guidance
• Focus on improvements of machine operation, production process and company procedure
• Working as part of a small team
• Select correct machine equipment and organise and administer the spares stock
• Review with management and minimise maintenance costs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous exposure within Maintenance is essential – Minimum 1 year within a likeminded role
• Previous industry knowledge with manufacturing
• HNC/HND level in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• 18th edition electrical wiring is advantageous
• Full UK Driving License and own vehicle is advantageous
• Exposure with hydraulics is advantageous
• Strong communicator with the ability to work as a team
