Role Description

As an Account Delivery Director within our Lenders, Investors and Insurers team, you will lead local and regional account relationships to establish Arcadis as a trusted partner and drive growth across the accounts managed. You will define and execute account plans, including technical service delivery and commission management.

Working closely with Service Capability Leads, you will identify existing solutions that can be sold to new clients, anticipate future market needs, and proactively engage clients to share insights, innovation, and market observations.

Role Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement account plans for key local and regional accounts in line with Arcadis UK business objectives to drive profitable growth.
  • Develop new and grow target and existing local and regional accounts to meet or exceed planned targets (revenue, bookings and margin).
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of lender and investor client markets to identify key trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Align with and support strategic priorities such as sustainability, energy transition and digitally enabled solutions.
  • Manage local pursuits, contribute to bid/no‑bid decisions, prepare proposals and support successful pursuits.
  • Collaborate with Value Proposition Leaders to tailor Arcadis value propositions into commercially viable offerings for key local and regional LII Sector accounts, demonstrating value‑creating outcomes.
  • Capture client data on accounts – track record, case studies, sales collateral, relationship history and lessons learned – and make it available for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the pipeline and feed opportunities into the business line pipeline to ensure an optimal flow of pursuits to achieve targets.
  • Develop relationships throughout Arcadis to foster cooperation and maximise cross‑sell and trade‑up opportunities.
  • Leverage a network of client relationships to understand business needs, position Arcadis as a trusted partner and lead client relationship development.
  • Manage relationships at executive level and with analyst/managers at deal execution.
  • Maintain a visible market presence and demonstrate how your network directly delivers opportunities.
  • Show a proven track record of building trusted adviser relationships and revenue generation at all levels, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to fully lead, coordinate and manage a delivery team to ensure successful client outcomes.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor or professional degree in business, management or surveying related field.
  • Strong understanding of consulting, business development and leadership principles.
  • Broad understanding of technical due diligence, sustainability, development monitoring and asset management of real‑estate assets.
  • Experience in Funder/Developer Monitoring Services and ability to independently undertake, lead and deliver Technical Due Diligence reports.
