What You’ll Be Doing
- Design novel antenna systems for advanced sensors, exploiting the latest developments in additive layer manufacturing.
- Develop solutions that meet demanding performance requirements in space‑limited and harsh environments.
- Conduct electromagnetic modelling using tools such as Ansys HFSS or CST Studio.
- Perform complex antenna simulations, data analysis, and post‑processing in MATLAB.
- Support anechoic chamber testing and manage the transition of development hardware into pre‑production.
- Work cross‑functionally with other engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, integrated solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in antenna design and development.
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g. Ansys HFSS, CST Studio).
- Knowledge of microwave frequencies, ideally UHF and frequencies beyond X‑band.
- Proficiency in MATLAB for simulation data analysis.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
