TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the cardiac lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and equipment in working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
- Prepare patient and equipment for procedures: site of entry, patient draping, arrangement of sterilized instruments and catheters, calibration and setup of pressure transducers and tubing.
- Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment used in the cath lab; maintain knowledge of all related equipment.
- Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician in maneuvering catheters.
- Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating amplifiers and fluoroscopic equipment.
- Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures.
- Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Qualifications
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- CCI (RCIS) certification preferred; ARRT (R) –CI or CCI‑RCIS also acceptable.
- Minimum 1 year of experience; 2 years preferred.
- State‑specific medical licensing when required.
- Certification may be required before assignment starts.
Compensation
Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
