Bank Healthcare Support Worker

Pay & Hours

Up to £15 per hour, depending on experience. As a bank role you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the business and your availability.

About the Role

Support Worker on the ward at Brighton Hospital. You will meet deadlines, follow instructions, maintain telephone manners and use computer and database skills.

Responsibilities

• Put patient care first.
• Carry out administrative duties.
• Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in pre‑ and post‑surgery care.
• Develop relationships with patients.
• Meet the individual needs of each patient.
• Use organisational skills to make a positive impact and improve experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
