Senior Associate – Residential Property – London
An established legal practice is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its Residential Property team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior level solicitor to manage a varied caseload of residential property matters whilst contributing to the continued success and growth of a highly regarded team.
The successful individual will provide high quality legal advice across a broad range of residential property transactions, including both routine and complex matters. The role requires strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and a client focused approach, together with the ability to develop business opportunities and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Advise clients on freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions.
- Handle remortgage and refinancing matters.
- Assist with lease extensions, enfranchisement matters, and title-related issues.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and other stakeholders throughout transactions.
- Ensure matters are progressed efficiently and in line with service standards.
- Prepare and manage billing in accordance with agreed procedures.
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, and professional contacts.
- Demonstrate the ability to generate new work through personal networks, referrals, and business development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop new revenue streams.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in residential conveyancing.
- Proven ability to independently manage a busy and varied caseload.
- Experience gained within a respected regional, national, or city-based law firm.
- Strong understanding of the residential property market and transaction process.
- Proven ability to meet financial and performance objectives.
