Are you curious, motivated, and forward‑thinking? At FIS you’ll work on some of the most complex and impactful challenges in modern banking, helping build next‑generation, AI‑enabled platforms used by financial institutions worldwide.

About the team

Join a senior platform engineering team responsible for building and operating multi‑region Kubernetes infrastructure that powers an AI‑enabled banking platform used by Tier‑1 financial institutions.

What you will be doing

  • Design, build and operate multi‑region Kubernetes platforms (EKS/GKE/AKS) for five‑nines workloads
  • Implement GitOps‑driven infrastructure using Terraform, Helm and Flux
  • Own reliability: disaster recovery, failover, backup/restore and resilience testing
  • Build secure, zero‑trust, multi‑tenant infrastructure for regulated environments
  • Develop and evolve observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry)
  • Support hybrid, on‑prem and air‑gapped deployments

What you bring

  • Deep hands‑on Kubernetes platform experience (not just application deployment)
  • Strong understanding of multi‑cloud and hybrid networking fundamentals
  • Production experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience operating distributed systems in regulated environments
  • Strong ownership mindset and comfort shipping directly to production

Added bonus if you have:

  • Cilium and multi‑cluster networking experience
  • Kubernetes operators and CRD development
  • Go or Rust experience
  • AI‑driven SRE or automation experience
