We design, build, and optimise the operations of leading private sector businesses within the industry groups of Consumer (incl. Consumer Products, Retail, Automotive and THS); Energy, Resourcing and Industrials (ERI); and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT), to bring their biggest ideas to life and help them to unlock the value of AI, digital and sustainability. Your role will include:
- Supporting the design and delivery of operating models and identifying areas of innovation/operational improvement within existing operating models
- Assessing processes, identifying and quantifying inefficiencies and contributing ideas for improvement
- Helping develop business cases, leading on data synthesizing and modelling, and identifying and/or delivering sustainable cost savings in collaboration with senior clients
- Developing methodical approaches to research and analysing large qualitative and quantitative data sets to shape insights and recommendations
- Evaluating and using emerging and innovative technologies or ways of thinking to shape strategy; design operating models, principles and roadmaps; and deliver transformation
- Managing relationships across a broad range of stakeholder groups
- Leading small project teams, workstreams and components of engagements
- Organising inputs to contribute to the logical flow of deliverables

Desirable experience (based on the preceding industry list)
- Experience of use of AI/Automation to accelerate key operational processes and/or optimise ways of working in one of the above sectors
- Experience of managing change including stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption plans to ensure smooth transitions
- Experience operating at a strategic and operational level, balancing long‑term vision with hands‑on execution
- Experience working across a variety of tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, Jira, Data Visualisation (e.g. PowerBi / Tableau), Low Code Platforms (e.g. PowerApps) and Process Modelling tools (e.g. Signavio)
- Previous consulting experience, whether as an independent advisor or in‑house
- Experience of a junior‑level operational role in at least one private sector organisation (as an employee or as a consultant/contractor) demonstrating knowledge of the overall operating model of that business
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification

You will be based in London, Edinburgh or Manchester with hybrid working. Depending on the requirements of your role, you will have the opportunity to work in your local office, virtual collaboration spaces, client sites and remotely. Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires certain colleagues to abide by specific personal independence constraints.
