Architect – London Technically Focussed | 4+ Years’ Experience | RIBA Chartered Practice


My client, a design-led architectural practice, is seeking a technically focussed Architect to join their growing London studio.


This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of projects, from early design development and planning applications through to detailed technical design and delivery information. You will work closely with the directors to deliver high-quality architecture and support the continued growth and reputation of the practice.


This position would particularly suit an Architect with experience in Scottish projects and/or Scottish Building Regulations, alongside strong UK residential delivery experience.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support directors in the delivery of high-quality design-led projects

  • Produce design, planning, and technical information across all RIBA stages

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultant teams

  • Support Architects and Architectural Assistants within the team

  • Contribute to the creative direction and design quality of the practice

  • Help deliver projects to key milestones and deadlines

  • Promote the values and reputation of the practice


Requirements



  • Qualified Architect with minimum 4 years’ professional experience

  • Experience working across all RIBA stages

  • Strong background in residential design and delivery

  • Experience with Scottish projects and/or Scottish Building Regulations (essential or highly desirable)

  • Confident working with external consultants and wider project teams

  • Strong technical knowledge and detailing ability

  • Proficiency in Revit with practical project experience

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign etc.)

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Organised, proactive, and confident working independently and within teams
