Overview
Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer for the water sector to deliver innovative projects across the UK and Ireland. The role involves designing and specifying water infrastructure, pipelines, water treatment facilities, and service reservoirs, while collaborating with specialists in pipeline technology, structural, geotechnical, and digital design.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions from needs identification and feasibility analysis through outline and detailed design.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with other civil engineers.
- Lead and support other civil engineers on projects.
- Produce design deliverables within required timescales and budgets.
- Support strategic service across project lifecycles from asset management to feasibility and conceptual design.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
- Ideally Chartered and a member of a relevant engineering institution.
- Previous experience working within the water industry is preferred.
- Track record of undertaking designs and completing deliverables within required timescales and budgets.
