Salary & Benefits
£29,000 – £32,000 + Paid Overtime, Pension OTE £47,000. Friday afternoons off.
Location
Shropshire. Commute from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
Role Summary
As part of the Mechanical Fitting team, you will carry out the assembly of all mechanical systems & equipment for large robot automation installations in the UK & overseas.Once fully trained, Mechanical Fitters will be responsible for complex and interesting projects in a clean, modern facility.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience of mechanical inspection
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Self‑motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks
- Keen to accept responsibility and accountability
- Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard
- Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance scheme
