News Corp Global Technology is looking for a Deskside Support Analyst to provide internal-facing technical support for employees and contractors. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, enjoys helping people, and can find solutions in a fast-paced environment. The role covers PC, Mac, networking, SCCM, Active Directory, Office 365, and more. Responsibilities include responding to technical issues, questions, and requests submitted through remote access, telephone, e‑mail, ticketing system, and hands‑on intervention as needed. Deskside Support Analysts are responsible for coordinating the appropriate interactions to resolve every request to resolution.

What you’ll do

  • Work directly with end-users in person and remotely to resolve complex IT problems.
  • Image, deploy, and maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, and printers.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems.
  • Support multiple software applications and basic network configurations.
  • Resolve 1st and 2nd level support issues concerning hardware, software, networking, active directory, applications, and telecommunications.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Windows and Office products, Apple OSX, Adobe creative suites, and in-house applications.
  • Manage conference room video and audio support for Zoom and Google Hangouts.
  • Own ServiceNow incidents and requests, perform follow‑ups, and ensure proper closure is reached and communicated.
  • Support all models of cellular and tablet devices, including Android and iOS operating systems.

What you’ll need

  • Two-year degree or Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences (preferred) or a minimum of two years prior working experience in a corporate IT environment.
  • PC and Mac hardware skills, network printer support, and computer network knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer‑service oriented, team player, good listener.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work under desks when required.
