Overview

Locum Consultant in the department of ENT. This is a 10PA locum appointment for a Locum Consultant, with special interests in ENT. This post will be available for a period of 6 months. This post will deliver 8.5PAs supporting the ENT team, and 1.5 SPAs. The post will be based at Leeds General Infirmary. The successful applicant should hold accreditation the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent, and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director. Applicants should have established skills in Otolaryngology. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential. Consideration will be given to applicants who wish to work full or part time and those wishing to job share. Main duties of the job

The post will be based at The General Infirmary at Leeds and Wharfedale General Hospital. The ENT Department consists of 14 Consultants. We cover all subspecialities in ENT including Rhinology, Skull base, Paediatrics, Head & Neck and Otology. We are looking for a fixed term locum to help with the expanding workload. There will also be on call commitments taking referrals from district hospitals as well as managing direct referrals
