Cisilion has the exciting opportunity for a (Senior) AV Project Engineer to join their team and be responsible for site surveys, setting success criteria, implementing AV solutions, and ensuring the AV solutions are working optimally.

PURPOSE OF ROLE
The AV Project Engineer will be responsible for site surveys, setting success criteria, implementing AV solutions, and ensuring the AV solutions are working optimally. This is a hybrid role and requires working on our client sites c.4 days a week (mostly London based) and a dedication to representing Cisilion’s commitment to quality service.
This is a highly collaborative, fast paced role, requiring you to be able to balance and manage your time and effort across multiple customers and opportunities with the support of your peers, solution specialists and our delivery/technical teams as needed achieve the best solution and outcome for the customer and Cisilion.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum five years AV project engineering experience
- Experience of Meeting Rooms solutions in the market across our core suppliers Microsoft and Cisco as well as OEM’s such as Cisco, HP Poly, Yealink, Logitech, Crestron, QSC, Shure, Neat.
- Keep up to date with the technologies released and industry best practices
- In depth knowledge across the sector and experience designing or implementing these solutions
- Experience in implementing Meeting Room Spaces
- Good understanding of general and sector specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Have demonstrable experience in working with clients in the envisioning, planning, and solution scoping of meeting room solutions, site surveys and designing of the meeting room spaces.
- Strong presentation, communication, and written skills.
- Drivers license and clean record
Desirable:
- Industry recognised qualifications – Avixa CTS Certification and AutoCAD experience
- Manufacturer specific training from Biamp, QSC, Shure
- Technical expertise in cross platform integration such as Cloud Video Interop
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Surveys:
- Conduct on-site assessments and surveys to gather information about the project requirements and constraints.
- Evaluate the existing infrastructure, technical environment, and client preferences.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their AV needs and expectations.
Solution Design, Design Ratification and Success Criteria:
- Work closely with the sales and technical teams to design AV solutions that meet client requirements.
- Define success criteria and project milestones to ensure clear objectives are set and met.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for AV solution design.
Implementation and Installation:
- Oversee the installation and configuration of AV systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and adjust as necessary to achieve optimal system performance.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct rigorous testing to verify that AV solutions meet project requirements and performance standards.
- Identify and resolve any deficiencies, inconsistencies, or errors in the AV systems.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and modifications.
Customer Service and Representation:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during on-site visits.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer client questions, and address concerns.
- Represent Cisilion’s quality of service by demonstrating professionalism, technical competence, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel to client sites as necessary, which may include national and international travel.
- Manage travel logistics efficiently, including scheduling, accommodation, and transportation.
