We are currently hiring a Business Analyst who will be missioned with helping clients realize the value of their investment in Ventiv technologies and solutions across all product lines. In this role you will be a trusted advisor driving successful product adoption for our clients.

To be successful in this role you must have deep technical understanding of Ventiv products and continually engage with Ventiv development to architect optimal and future-proof solutions. Underpinned by strong consulting skills, this role can distil complex business requirements down to the essential project/technical requirements while also providing advisory guidance throughout the implementation process. Once a project is deployed, the business analyst will utilize their knowledge sharing skills to empower the customer success team to better service clients through their Ventiv journey.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand client’s business process and provide consultative advice and direction to streamline operations and ensure best fit for Ventiv product and services.
  • Lead client requirements gathering sessions / workshops.
  • Guide clients through the business requirements documentation (BRD) process.
  • Translate BRD into functional specifications working with Subject Matter Experts within Ventiv to validate the solution.
  • Prepare swim lanes, workflow diagrams and business processes utilizing Visio.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to validate solutions & translating technical requirements to client business processes.
  • Mapping of client custom data conversions, validate data, and perform issues resolution with client.
  • Validating requirements using test plans, test scripts or test scenarios with client interaction.
  • Support clients through their User Acceptance Testing including coordination and assignment of issues across departments and working closely with the Project Manager to drive resolution.
  • Building relationships, and becoming a trusted advisor to both decision makers and influencers
  • Establish and maintain a continuous level of communication with clients and other project stakeholders while clearly managing expectations.
  • Manage change requests or scope creep to the solution by communicating with the Project Manager including flagging any risks to the project.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve project issues, problems, and changes in scope. Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager(s) to mitigate risks to the project.
  • Manage small work orders through the planning and managements of deliverables playing both the project coordinator and business analyst role using Ventiv project methodology.
  • Work on multiple projects at once including small work orders which you will be managing.
  • Continual learning and understanding of Ventiv products.
  • Alignment with product team to provide insights on product roadmaps.
  • Assist in RFP and presales activity (pricing and project plans) and development of Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Stay up to date on industry evolution; circulate best practices

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Insurance industry experience
  • 3+ years in software implementation and technical consulting
  • SaaS industry experience, preferred.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal), organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation, multi-tasking, and follow through skills.
  • Strong business analysis and consulting skills to be able to distil complex business requirements and communicate to differing audiences.
