Management Accountant

Forge Talent is currently working with an exceptional logistics business in the Tameside area who is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will work across the Preparation of Business Management Accounts & Assist across the Growth/Development of the Business.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation / Production of Management Accounts – including Reports for each Business
• Heavily Month End Focused – Prepayments / Accruals / Journals
• P&L Reviews
• Weekly Cashflow Forecasting – Highlighting any Risks
• Assist with Year End Audits / Year End Procedures
• Formulating Budgets & Forecasts
• Exposure across all areas of Finance including Analysis & Reporting across External & Internal Stakeholders
• Working with Senior Finance Members across the Development & Growth of the Business

Profile:

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant – QBE must have both working & technical knowledge of Accountancy
• Strong IT skills – Including Excel Intermediate Level / Sage 200 would be beneficial
• Must be Self Motivated / Use Own Initiative to develop processes
• Experience in Logistics / Manufacturing Industry would be beneficial but not essential
• Solid Strategic Planning and Analysis Skills
