Registered Manager Position for 15-Bedded Service in Devon

Our client provides high-quality, innovative support services to individuals with mental health, learning disabilities, autism, and dementia.
We are currently recruiting a full-time Registered Manager for our 15-bedded service in Devon, which supports individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
Job Purpose/Summary
The Registered Manager is crucial in ensuring the organization meets its goal of delivering quality care to vulnerable individuals. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Registered Manager will oversee the efficient management and development of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards while upholding our clients values through high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure eligibility to be registered with CQC as Registered Manager.
- Hold the relevant qualifications required for the role.
- Participate in the company performance management process.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call service on a rota basis.
- Adhere to and model the company's values, behaviours, and competencies at all times.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the clients expectations, regulations, and policies.
- Undertake additional duties as necessary.
Criteria
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for HSC and CYP Services (Adults Management), with at least 3 years of supervisory management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in health or learning disability services for adults.
- 3 years experience at a senior level in:
- Staff supervision and rota management.
Working with CQC regulations and requirements.
Multidisciplinary and multiagency collaboration.
Managing complex health, PMLD, or palliative care needs.
Leading in challenging service environments.
- Service development and handling complex referrals in nursing/residential settings.
- Full clean driving license.
