Hygiene Manager

Alexander Steele have partnered with this market leading food manufacturing group, our client is looking for a motivated hygiene professional to join the business on a permanent dayshift basis at their site based in Oxfordshire. The role holder will lead manage a hygiene team across the site, whilst developing a robust Hygiene culture, with a possibility of rolling standards across the group long-term.

Salary on offer up to £60k plus pension & private healthcare

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hygiene functions and develop a strong team work ethic.
• To ensure training cards and risks assessments are prepared for the various hygienic maintenance tasks in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all employees and that as a minimum the factory meets the standards set out in the SHE policy.
• To ensure all relevant COSSH data is received and incorporated into schedules as appropriate.
• Maintaining factory GMP daily whilst keeping the factory clean and tidy and audit ready.

Background Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in hygiene management/supervisory roles
• Listeria awareness essential
• HACCP/Food Safety/IOSH
