Purpose of Role
The Electrical Engineer would be responsible for undertaking electrical and building maintenance works.
Job Description
Electrical works including PPM servicing, fault-finding, and reactive breakdown repairs to electrical building services systems and infrastructure to include power, 3-Phase, distribution, emergency lighting, lamp/ballast/socket repairs, and alarms.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for PPM and Reactive Maintenance on site.
- Involved in extra works and/or project work.
- Ensuring reliability of the plant and associated mechanical systems on site.
- To work to set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained.
- Prompt and effective response to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
- Minor installation work.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
- City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 / NVQ Level 3
- 18th Edition (Required)
- City & Guilds 2391
- City & Guilds 2394/2395 or Equivalent
- Experience in Electrical & Mechanical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
- ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) card.
