Duties & Responsibilities

About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Client Director will assume responsibility for owning and growing a book of business comprised principally of commercial clients across multiple sectors. This will include the delivery of new business development activities, the ongoing servicing of existing clients, maintaining strategic relationships and positioning oneself as a trusted advisor, all the while ensuring that all work is of the highest calibre, satisfies clients’ needs, is competitive and both financially and commercially viable.

Desired Experience & Qualification

About You

The Client Director will possess:

1. A proven and successful track record in a senior commercial insurance broking position with a focus on large commercial clients
2. You may either currently concentrate on a small number of industries or operate with a sector-agnostic approach and may possess either a hunting or farming remit or a mixture of the two
3. Be self-sufficient, have experience of strategic broking and markets, be able to offer complex commercial risk-based advice whilst exercising your experience and judgement
4. Exposure to international structures would be beneficial. You will also be commercially astute and able to offer new concepts that challenge the status quo
