Overview
Our client is a technology company delivering AI-first revenue optimization tools to the hospitality sector. Operating independently within a well-funded and fast-paced environment, they are now hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead their Platform team, responsible for the infrastructure and automation that powers advanced ML-driven pricing models used by hotels worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small, high-performing engineering team* Own and evolve the infrastructure that supports AI/ML predictions at scale* Collaborate with Data Science teams to improve model deployment workflows* Drive technical architecture to ensure platform performance and reliability* Stay hands-on with Python, Kubernetes, and GCP* Maintain high development standards, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines* Work cross-functionally with product and science teams to deliver business value
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of engineering leadership, ideally in platform or infrastructure teams* Strong technical foundation in cloud-native environments (GCP, Kubernetes)* Proficient in Python, particularly within data science or ML contexts* Ability to engage in technical discussion with Data Science teams* Experience building scalable and resilient systems* Hands-on technical leader who engineers look up to* Strong communicator with a collaborative and proactive mindset
