£excellent – plus 25% of all fees in excess of three times salary

Our client is one of the largest practices in the area, located in a vibrant and affluent London/Essex borough.
With a management team described as “switched on”, it’s a practice that punches above its weight and is not your typical high street firm with a large number of corporate clients. The business is a general practice providing advice to a broad cross section of the local community. Its influence has expanded in recent years to a client base that is now nationwide and, in some cases, international. The firm is friendly and personable, with a strong belief in building lasting relationships with clients.
They now seek to recruit a solicitor with at least 5 years PQE to join the Private Client Team. The successful candidate will take over an existing caseload that has historically generated a high fee income per annum, primarily dealing with Probate, Trusts, and Wills. You will manage a varied caseload, advising individuals on all aspects of Private Client work.
A lawyer with ambition and gravitas is preferred, along with the ability to build productive relationships with professional referrers and develop a flow of referrals. You should be a good communicator, capable of managing, encouraging, and developing team members, and able to work closely with Partners and fee earners from other disciplines.
