About the Role
We’re hiring a Cost Controller & Analyst to join a global leader in pharmaceuticals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to partner with senior stakeholders and play a key role in delivering financial support and process management across SAR-related functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Finance Business Partner to department leads, providing insights and advice on costs, consulting spend, FTEs, and planning.
- Understand and explain cost drivers to non-financial stakeholders.
- Lead month-end close activities: accruals, reclassifications, allocations, and FTE assignments.
- Support Capex controlling and new business case setup.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and Outlook/Target planning.
- Drive continuous process improvement and support audits, M&A, and divestment projects.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years’ experience in cost control, FP&A, or financial analysis.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator with experience explaining financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP (preferred) and Power BI or other BI tools.
- Knowledge of project budgeting and cost tracking within a corporate or manufacturing setting.
