Base pay range
Marks Sattin are working with a leading professional services organisation based in Central London who are seeking a Finance Director to lead their Group Finance team.
Going through a significant period of growth this is a key role to support and deputise for the CFO in strategic, commercial, and operational finance matters. This role has 3 direct reports, with a wider team covering FP&A, statutory reporting, and operations. This company are in their Central London office 5 days a weeks with flexibility where required.
Key activities and responsibilities include:
- Management accounting and budgetary/project control
- Lead audit, tax and statutory reporting activities
- Ownership or operational systems, risk and control
- Treasury and investment activity
- Team management and development
The successful candidate will be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with excellent technical financial awareness and ability to provide reliable, insightful, and accurate information to tight deadlines. Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work flexibly and prioritise own workloads and that of reporting staff is key.
You will be able to communicate effectively with the board, senior management, colleagues, and stakeholders. Excellent systems knowledge with the ability to work effectively with IT in developing systems. Project Management experience would also be an advantage.
