Type: Full-time, permanent

A fast-growing tech company applying cutting-edge machine-learning to real-world R&D challenges is looking for a Front-End Developer to help expand its flagship data-driven web application. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team working closely with product and ML specialists to deliver intuitive, high-performance user experiences.

What you’ll do

  1. Build, test and maintain React components in TypeScript, using TailwindCSS for utility-first styling and react-query for data synchronisation.
  2. Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible front-end features.
  3. Optimise application performance, usability and visual polish.
  4. Contribute to code reviews, automated testing (Jest / Playwright) and CI pipelines.
  5. Collaborate with back-end engineers (Python/REST API) and domain experts to ship new functionality rapidly.

What you’ll bring

  1. 2+ years’ professional experience developing React applications.
  2. Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests.
  3. A keen eye for design detail and its impact on user experience.
  4. Self-motivation, analytical thinking and clear communication.
  5. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or similar (2:1 or above).
  6. Familiarity with Figma (or similar) and translating designs into code.
  7. Exposure to Python back-ends, CI tools (e.g., CircleCI) or agile environments.
  8. Interest in AI-driven products and experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot.

What’s on offer

  • Competitive salary plus share-option scheme.
  • 5 weeks’ annual leave (flexible-leave policy).
  • Hybrid working with travel expenses covered for office visits.
  • Flat structure, minimal bureaucracy and scope for rapid career growth.
  • Training budget, wellbeing support (EAP), cycle scheme and more.

If you’re excited by building slick user interfaces that power breakthrough machine-learning products – without the red tape – we’d love to hear from you.
