White Horse Employment are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing business based near Bristol who are looking for a Credit Control Team Leader. This is a brand new role created as they are currently going through an exciting period of transformation and expansion. You will be joining an evolving collections team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the collections function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the credit control process, proactively managing overdue accounts and driving timely payments.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both B2B and B2C clients, resolving queries and securing payment in a positive, compliant manner.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and streamline workload across the credit control function.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions, ensuring systems are updated and reports are accurate.
- Support the development of credit control reporting and contribute ideas for continuous improvement and automation.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years’ experience in credit control or debt collection, with a proven track record in both B2B and B2C environments.
- Experience managing a team is vital
- A confident communicator with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, change-driven environment where adaptability is key.
- Skilled in using Excel and reporting tools to track KPIs, aged debt, and drive smarter collections strategies.
