Management Accountant

Our client is a boutique luxury retail brand based in London, looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their team.

The role will work closely with the Finance Manager and would suit a part or newly-qualified accountant. The roles responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and reconciliations in a timely manner to meet monthly reporting timetable deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to streamline financial operations and implement strategic initiatives that enhance financial performance.
• Providing external auditors with supporting information and involvement in finalization of the statutory accounts under FRS 102.
• Prepare and ensure accurate UK VAT reporting and Global Sales tax compliance.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Work closely with departments to provide financial guidance and support. Ability to problem solve and implement improvements in cross-functional processes.
• Provide financial support and analysis for various projects and initiatives, for both the Finance Manager and Finance Director.

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

• Part, or fully qualified accountant (ACA/CA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience of preparing monthly management accounts.
• Experience, or desire to work in a fast-paced, retail environment.

Please note this role is a fully office-based position (i.e. 5 days per week).
